Lesson One Practice
If you already have a meditation practice, increase your minimum sitting time to 15 or 20 minutes, whenever you can. In each meditation session, emphasize a different aspect of the practice: choose to work more with posture, breath, or labeling thinking. Better yet, work with whichever aspect of practice you find the most difficult!
In addition, have five minutes of just being with yourself—preferably by yourself. Without formally meditating, just be aware of yourself, whatever that means for you. Be curious about how it feels to be you.
